Its Shore Life
Today it is the sanderlings turn ..
yesterday
it was the
terns
Tomorrow
who knows
Maybe the guillemots or gulls ..

Love your play on words - -- was with you there Nev watching those busy sanderlings - it is indeed a seabird's life around shores and great to stroll among the different sorts and am glad you have all that so near dear amigo.............x
its not often I get that nice warm glow when I mess with words .. but if you mean the one I think you may have noticed, I\'m shore gonna thank thee twice ................... 🙂
It shertainly is! One day the crabs will rise up
sheesh.. that could be bloomin painful 'for shore' .. in the meantime, I'll just say thanks and dont forget to scrub the infected area with a brush three times a day ................ 🙂
Nothing but far too familiar gulls when I hit the seashore ....envious Neville.
Thanks Dan .. seagulls particularly the more common ones, I suppose (several species) & not just the common gull (Larus canus) can be a bloomin pest .. I guess I'm lucky here .. just off to go see what might tern up today ........................................ 🙂
Thanks Nev. Great data - My knowledge on all manner of subjects increases exponentially as a result of my membership of MPS - in this particular case, seashore birdies.
Regards, Dave

So wonderful to share the sea shore with those wonderful birds Neville.
Andy
... tis so sandy Andy n the birds are just dandy ............................. thank my golden friend ... 🙂
it comes with that glint of grey in our hair
and an extra second of delay, in our sighs
a nudge of awareness, announcing
that burgeoning arrival of perspective
graced by wisdoms, wide lensed scope
for nuanced: thought...
(such a vivid read
imbued with that melancholic romance
of life, by the sea)
another great shorty, my friend!
am indeed blessed and in more ways than one ........... thank you n truly for being a friend my friend 🙂
Oh the magnet pull towards the coastline. The air, gulls, the spray of crashing waves. I grew up on the coast also. 'Tis why I'm such a lover of lighthouses. Great write N.
thank you my friend ... N 🙂
Credit where credit's due N. 😉
The sea was calling you and you obliged, and now it offers awesome sights.
it feels like it has a magnetic pull ... since my most recent move, I walk along the coastal path and harbour most days ....................................................... thank you and stay both safe and well Suresh 🙂
