Saxon Crow

He loves me
I can tell by the look in his eyes
He loves me not
I can tell by the tiny little lies
He loves me
He makes me so complete
He loves me not
I feel empty in defeat
He loves me
I'm so alive whenever he's near
He loves me not
It would make no difference if I wasn't here
He loves me
He writes me poetry everyday
He loves me not
I get a text to ask what's for dinner today
He loves me
But he needs to be strong
He loves me not
It won't be long until he's gone
He loves me
And now he is here
He loves me not
Which means no more tears

sorry but this was physically hard to read
my four eyes kept on getting lost,
couldn't find my way out of that
    'Me and Not'
spiralling descent into mind boggling confusion,
guess I'm just old, like that
I'll just let the petals: sing my fate... lol
a quirky and fun read, thanks for sharing dear Poet

No problem. I'll make it easier. Imagine two women talking about the same man.

Love has a life span. Thankfully, after many wakes, I found one longer than mine.
