Your daily struggle

Your daily struggle

As I sit here and watch you struggle
Your heart bleeds with so much pain
The everyday agony of trying to stay sane
I wish I could make things better
And help you breath without constrain

I watch you with every breath you take
Always to make certain your still breathing
Hopefully you wake up to see the daybreak
It hurts me to see you struggle
The stress has never been so real
and it has now caused such a headache

I pray everyday that the angels let you stay
Speak high above see down below
My mind is in disarray
I try to keep my emotions from getting out of control
But when I see you struggle
It takes its toll

As I sit here and watch you struggle
Your heart bleeds with so much pain
The everyday agony of trying to stay sane
I wish I could make things better
And help you breath without constrain

Soon I know the angels will take you
And my heart will break
As I write these words the tears fall down my face
Soon you won’t wake up to see the daybreak

The angels have come
And now it’s time to say our goodbyes
Everything has become numb
I can now say she has met her demise

As I sit here and watch you struggle
Your heart bleeds with so much pain
The everyday agony of trying to stay sane
I wish I could make things better
And help you breath without constrain

There been a misunderstanding, if you read in my post I state that I watch her struggle every day. She’s still with me.

      • The elder poet

You wrote that the angels finally came and took away the pain. So I thought you meant she had passed. Sorry.

I fully understand where you are coming from, I watched my wife struggle every day but now she is an angel and will be with me forever. Stay strong .
