My yard’s weekly growth
Needing to be tamed
Skies clear and hint of a breeze
You know I’m game
So, I gather all my tools
Mower, trimmer, lawn tractor
My determination and shades š
The ultimate factor
Blades of grass
Tremble with justifiable fear
All trimming completed
Now the lawn tractor in gear
Blades set to proper height
Engaged and engine revved up
Purrs like a kitten
Not even a hiccup
Around the yard I go
Taming every blade of grass
My neighbors in silent awe
My yard now kick ass
I wake up early
To fertilize at dawn
Sprinklers all a frenzy
I’m master of my lawn

Good write Bill.
Thanks Bill. What, no singing in praise of my lawn? š
Yes, I will sing - to the trees. I talk to plants too! lol.
And do they talk back to you too? š
I live in a flat so don't have to worry about all that arduous work!
I don't mind the work, keeps me busy on my days off from my job. What life? I had a life? š
I'm the owner of my lawn
my armies, how much leaves and how much grass
they guard the spring in my yard
and drive away the hard winter
forever young
Thanks for the visit and comment cosmacpan. š
