Decision Time

 

He was all right for a while

but then she called.

He wished she had held his hand 

that time when it counted.

Things were never the same after that.

Gradually they drifted apart.

That was only a month ago 

or was it an eternity?

And now she calls?

His heart is filled with panic.

Calm is not possible at this moment.

He says, “Hi Sara. How are you?”

 

And she’s crying...
