What is a Woman

M.E.M.

No molds.

No rules.

No need to be saved,

but takes it when it is offered.

Her looks are not everything,

but neither are her words.

Her life is hers to control.

And control her destiny she will.

I offer a wish that such freedom were there for every woman. Sadly, in our world there are societies and religions which forbid freedom for the female of our species. This is disgusting to the emancipated western mind.

Well you cracked that one, M - thanks for fulfilling that promise.
Still some way to go, even in the most liberal of so called democracies.....

that first stanza, exemplified it best
how - the ladies in our lives
have to overcome a lot 'No's', in life
    although, what's truly wondrous
is how 'They' find a way, to make those No's
a chorus: in their own, battle song...
    (an empowering message
    thanks for sharing)
