You cry, you cut, overdose.
I’m right here, and will catch you if you fall.
It only gets harder, but if you just stay close.
I can’t help if you run saying, Adios
I wait up by the phone, for the call.
You cry, you cut, overdose.
If you would just stop being gross
I’s be able to stall
It only gets harder, but if you just stay close.
Day after day, it flows
I don’t want to see you dead in the hall.
You cry, you cut, overdose.
You consume it all the most.
You need me, so I stand tall.
It only gets harder, but if you just stay close.
The final draw is when you go AWOL.
You won’t stop playing hardball.
You cry, you cut, overdose.
It only gets harder, but if you just stay close.

A terrible time scribed here so clearly and giving the tension when friends go into depression and worse. A sigh of a read that is so familiar in these troublesome days - - thanks for sharing the subject
