For the love of clouds

Saxon Crow

As I walk through this whirlwind life
With its unpredictable highs and lows
I take a moment and look at you 
Then suddenly I am calm and reassured that all is well
Because no matter what happens its just me and you and our lifelong romance
We are dancing on clouds in perpetual harmony 
No one can reach us they just watch on
The rhythm of our hearts keep us in time 
Beating out I am yours and you are mine
So when the storm rages, as it sometimes does, we look at each other and smile. 
Because we both know a secret
Nothing, not one single thing, will ever tear us apart 
Because we dance on clouds

    tend, to float-along merely and last
    longer
    than those wishes: we grasp far too, tight
