Thanks to Covid

Just a teeny bit enigmatic, Nev.
‘Like to elucidate?
‘t’s not as if I don’t like poetry where more is left unsaid than said, but mystery and inexplicability bring on a certain nervous condition (the details of which I will not disclose here)….
No? You are going to hold your fire until other poets have..... ain't you?
bang on mate .. but it does have summat to do with DNA maybe ..................... and I don't mean do not ask 🙂
A thoughtful write N.
I'm so glad you think that Mr. O .. I would have hung up my pen n notebook had you got it straight away ... and no you can not swoon just because the word corruption was used 🙂
Smiling real big at this bit of tongue-in-cheek Covid exposure - your wit mon ami is easily tracked, traced and found by the likes of me.
Covid or not he's comin to get ya ...................................................................................... 🙂 x
I'm dense and I'm with Doggerel Dave Neville......... please let us know what you mean. Unless it's that Covid has exposed every single rotten politician that exists at the moment??
Lorna: much as I appreciate your mention, for your own good, don't side with me - it will stain your reputation at MPS, sometime or other....thanks anyway....
Well I hope Neville knows I meant nothing bad in my comment - have I dropped into the forces of darkness here?
Could've - there would be some who would say you had.... but no more, let's just sink into obscurity....
think original sin, DNA testing and some of the many advances that have been made in a hurry directly due to Covid .. think apps, think ancestry .. think laterally and out of the box .. and then I think ya might be getting warmer ......................................... I know, I can be rotten sometimes 🙂
"You might very well think that; I couldn't possibly comment" - I do far too much commenting anyway sometimes.
yup,
just wait till history books
'write it up', all tidy
and retrospectively - tampered with, fact
who, to blame - blamed likely
survivors decreed, mere lucky
and for those in power, an opportunity
Missed-out or Capitalised upon
so just another dogmatic tale
to be worded and preached
for the lowly majority's
fearmongering attuned, manageability's ease
cyclical, isn't cynical enough
to do our capacity for pathetic
enough justice!
still, we got Big Brother's apps didn't we
all Orwell prophesised and everything...
you just came very close to blowing my cover in those last two lines of yours L.B ...... and those history books were due to be altered tomorrow anyway ... 🙂
I blame that washing machine I bought in 2018 for being secretly made in China.
get outa here .. you did wot 🙂
But can we now rcognise the corrupt?... with their face masks on?
Great thought of the day Nev
Thank you Loved it
depends on where they are wearing them mate ..... cheers though and good to see you here my friend .................................................................... 🙂
Covid is the thief, who steals life
from unsuspecting souls,
spreading corruption and strife
Oh yes , it has a strong hold
Not even masked men can conquer
Though try and trace
Oh, what we humans endure
With a Mask upon their face
Found in your blood stream
Searched in your pocket of privacy
Covid makes every soul scream
It came from you, not me
Wowza ........................ that\'s betterer than my \'Thanks to Covid ... You sure U R A Dove and not a 'Flame Throated Bulbul' by any chance 🙂 x
Lol not sure what those are, just say your words are inspirational and mine are only written here! Hugs !
So true, corruption has always been there unless you see through it and move along a different pathway.
Andy
