Untitled #2
In less time than it took him
to process
that one last onslaught ..
And the content of her insult
She was swiftly consigned to
the waste-bin
and hence to history ..
Where,
without even a shelf to sit on
She was deemed unworthy
of memory, shame or guilt even ..

Yeh ... not a bad idea, really.. gotta meet fire with fire.... Thanks Nev...
PS: Perhaps second 'fire' should be 'a hose'...
.............. Cheers DD 🙂
Aww, why he chuck her in the bin?! He could send her to me - to recycle? Call the poem 'Recycling Rita' or summat like that.
Any more info on this from me might be swoony. lol.
How come Fido let you get away with proposing a title like that .. 🙂
'without even a shelf to sit on
She was deemed unworthy'..
Oft, passion is deemed a quality
yet
in that moment, of blinding pain
we
far too often, choose to abuse our cherished
weaponising
that same passion, into a reactionary tool
designed
to inflict, such disproportionate levels of heartless
suffering...
(mirror, is a little harder - to look in-to
those, morning after's
still, fallible as we are - our conscious
if allowed to, can guide us back
to a realm, where forgiveness
is no longer, such an impossible
dream...)
I take it that might be a yes then .............................. he never bears grudges, not in the real world anyway .. N
Lol at shame or guilt memories.... no such thing, just another few footsteps of the learning stroll through life. The contents of that wastebin serve to thicken the walking boot soles of life's journeyman.
You got it DA ....................................... thanks ever so 🙂
Phew - this was tough on her.... I would have been on the shelf a few times if my husband hadn't been so forgiving. But you got it down to a tee!
Get outa here .. I don't believe ya ............. you is surely near perfik 🙂
THAT is why I prefer this online back and forth to real life......
There comes a time when either gender is tested too much my friend - I guess then appears an untitled and flagrant dismissal which I understand - the She in the waste bin needs to see insults don't always bring hasty answers by pacification to most often planned manipulation - - Oooh now look what this read has brought out in me.......... x
I am mightily impressed ......... and wish to hereby thank thee for that mighty fine address 🙂 x
Ah - I was certainly on me soapbox right enough eh - -- dunno whatever got in me cept your wording seemed so real and me's in your corner ya know..........x
Don't forget to empty the waste-bin.
............ just acquired a new shredder 🙂
That will do. Where is Untitled#1?
its around somewhere 🙂
Another great one Neville. Thank you for improving my day..
I am truly honoured my friend .. thank you for that splendid and most welcome compliment 🙂
So true in some cases Neville, some people do not deserve a second thought.
