Because of Her

Saxon Crow

And so my muse falls silently asleep
As words can't touch the thing I feel
I'm over come with a new depth of emotion
Transcending the old and all I've ever known
Because of her
Because of who she is
Because of what she is
Because I dared to dream and the dream came true
Because through her I am so inexplicably changed at the most subtlest levels of my being
I never even conceived such a depth of feeling and way of expression as this
That all thought and emotion is primitive and stunted in comparison
Words are inadequate and tiny and useless now
Because she is me and I am her
Because I believe
Because I am lifted above the veil
And there is nothing in this shallow old world that will ever be seen the same again
All because of her
