Perception.
Wise eternity opts to wink
at blind earthling opinion
that accepting Now's position
as stopwatch has no significance.
Surrender is thought to be weak
and that years must have meaning.
Yet infinity favours order
as each single minute walks
with timeless precision toward
proving human perception warped.
Valuing moments as entrance
to Nowness opens non-earthly
doors to where love is permanent
and all else temporarily relevant.

Play on Fay, play on – and please give eternity, infinity and now another outing sometime. They are always welcome buzzing around my head – provided they don’t stay too long…..
Each to their own Dave and if you kindly allow that buzzing around of my view of things well that alone deserves a further big thank you for your visit and read.
Now - I'm liking this poem Fay!
Good and thank you for saying so Orchi my friend.
Ha .. and there's me thinking mistress Fay has invented a new perceptual tool to determine amongst other things alignment and spatial judgement .... one can never be sure these days except for the certainty that she will never fail to deliver when it comes to the quality of her bespoke creations ..x
Ha - well I'm glad you had a peek at my more than frustration in being unable to alter the spacing -- strange cos it has never happened before........... any road up Nev here's many thank yous for reading through my love of ways to describe Perception..............x
Even the greatest shall know temporary relevance in their everyday now-ness'. Though our history books record something different. but time, what is it, where does it go. Will they ever invent time travel or is that what some of the UFO's are, visitors from the future... who knows?
What a provokative can of worms you've opened today Fay.
Ah - - thanks dear D,. - - I love opening cans to see word-worms being examined with fervour by kind readers - - and you are by no means an exception to that my friend. Glad you found the thoughts provoking
Each moment is so precious in our lives Fay.
Yes that is very true dear Andy and you are such a good example of treasuring moments - thank you for your lovely comment
