Selene

Jabberwocky

I went to the places we made sacred to Eros

And those sacred to Hestia

I returned on the turning of sixty moons

But found no offerings there from you.

I came to worship Selene

Slender goddess of corners turned

Veiled in mists and shadows

Always half turning away

But always returning.

Changing but faithful.

Her many faces beautiful.
