Trumpet Triumph

Tune: Morning Star

('Stand up, stand up for Jesus')

Revelation 11 v.15-19

**********

Seventh angel trumpet blew

All heavenly hosts knew

For great voices they did say

'Tis even so this day

The kingdoms of the world are

Become, if near or far

The kingdoms of our Lord, too

And of His Christ, we view

And He shall reign for ever

And ever, cease never

Then, the twenty-four elders

Before God they do share

In worship, leaving their thrones

Around God, each one owns

Him as their Lord, they worship

Him, and praise Him with lips

Saying, We give you thanks free

O Lord God Almighty

Who is, and were, and shall be

You live eternally

You have taken to you your

Great power, have reigned sure

And he nations were angry

Time of your wrath they see

And time that dead should judged be

By you all righteously

And that you should reward give

To your servants who live

For you, and too saints, prophets

Each on you their heart sets

And they that do your name fear

Small, great, they you revere

And that you shall them destroy

They who by plan and ploy

Destroy the earth and revile

Creation, it defile

Then temple of God open

In heaven, and was seen

The ark of His covenant

Through clouds of the sky rent

An awesome sight to behold

And too, let it be told

There were voices and lightnings

And rumbling thunderings

An earthquake, and a great hail

These things they shall no fail

Come worship Him, Almighty

His power endless be
