Missed You

Saxon Crow

So many things I see again
Like the smile on your face
And your moonshine beam
The way you say yes without reservation
And your heart's back on your sleeve
With no trepidation
I remember how you used to be
And low and behold
You're back here right in front of me
Twice as bold
I've missed you and your fun filled ways
Your strange sense of humour
And your harmless play
I love that you're back
And even though you've changed
It's brought more depth
To your already deep gaze
Welcome back my warrior friend
Welcome back to this world awaiting
You were missed
Now let's play the game of foolish living
Tag you're it

Now, what you doing missing me? When I had a blip for about two weeks, and couldn't get on here. I was knocking at the website 'door' trying to get in! heehee.

This is a wonderful piece celebrating the return of a true friend... returning from armed service i wonder... or maybe not.
      Really excellent writing.
