Summer heat

HannahElisabeth

Notice of absence from HannahElisabeth
Taking a long overdue mental health vacation. I will check in when I can.

Gleaming
Glistening
Glinting off your skin
The kind that rivals passion
Burning hot and red

Can’t seem to tame my demons

Their voices ringing in my head

“You must confess”
“You must repent”

But you’re the closest thing to heaven
And by far my favorite sin

    Lovely piece here Hannah

LOL at sin and repent. Man made concepts. Those sinning motivators of love are the strongest most glorious emotions the human body and mind can experience.
    Lovely poem

I'm glad you laughed at that part, man made concepts indeed! Thank you for the lovely compliment!

Those last two lines say it all Hannah. Great words.
