Frozen Dreams

Jayasree

My dreams

twinkle like stars

in the sky of my mind

longing for the daylight;

to be fulfilled.

Alas! they disappear

in the morning light

and the dreams

inside me

remain locked

frozen and timeless.

    But those dreams are still there and will awake when nightime falls.
