Please be Gentle

Saxon Crow

Please be gentle
Give yourself time
You've been through a trial
Of course you're not fine
Please be patient
Understand what you need
There are depths of emotion
As of yet felt or freed
Please be caring
Don't beat yourself up
Give yourself cuddles
And hot chocolate from a cup
Please be mindful
That some things take time
You might think you are ready
But inside you're only just crying
Please don't worry
It's a process you're feeling
And it's something that happens
When your heart needs some healing
So please be gentle
Then one day very soon
You'll feel stronger in yourself
And feel like warm, loving you

Kind and honest words. To often I feel people skip these feelings and they fester into anger and impotent outbursts. Probably due to parental influence in formative years. But we are all soft and squidgey inside. It pays to give homage and time to feelings of sadness, loss or regret and let self healing slowly take its time.
            Good words from you.

              Thanks Dusk. Loving your discernment
