Worry.

Goldfinch60

In our lives we worry,

Worry about many things,

But looking back in our lives

We tend to realise

That we spent more time worrying

Over things that never happened.

Ain't it the truth! Then something totally unexpected pops up and gets us.

    • Goldfinch60

      So true Lorna.

Mother was a worrier, I vowed never to become so. Lately with much time on my hands I fear i'm failing. But plans are afoot once these dreadful cycles of chemotherapy leave me hopefully able to be active again.

      • Goldfinch60

I do hope those cycles end soon d a and your life gets into a better routine.

        Good write Gold.
Also - the worry or fear of something that will, happen, can be worse than the actual event.
Did you worry in 1066 that I would turn up?!

        • Goldfinch60

          Thanks Orchi.

Yes the fear of the unknown can be so worrying.

Yes i did have that fear but I didn't realise that you would point up in the air for Harold.

Worry away Andy - unless that worry can result in a preemptive strategy, then worry no more (upsets gastro intestinal balance) Anything else is an exercise in futility.....😊

          • Goldfinch60

I do not worry about anything now Dave, I feel that I am in a good position in my life.

Very true .Half our worries don't come true . But only age and experience will teach you that. So let the young ones worry its part of the game

            • Goldfinch60

Yes TKKKK, age brings wisdom and the worries get less. Thank you.

Absolutely true. I remember my father telling my sister. “If worrying helped, I’d worry right along with you”

              Nice work.

              • Goldfinch60

Thank you John. Wise man your father.

How true. Worrying limits lifes joy. Thank you.

                    Don't think too much Jon, it's dangerous.😂
