Is it actually over-rated
To be dated?
Is shopping around
A waste of light and sound?
Will you end up with your number two
If you don’t try out a few?
Should there be any labour
Or leave it to the Saviour?
Is it up to God to pull the strings
And I just wait until he rings?
Is being married really that great
Or do I want other things put on my plate?
Is there a match for me
Or is it all fantasy?
Is being chosen by a boy
Really endless joy?
How do I feel empty
When God already loves me?
How many more years
Of guessing games and fears?
