Tune and Hymn: 'Jesus is Lord'
Psalm 37 v.5-11
********
Rest in the LORD
Wait patient, trust in His word
Fret not yourself because of they
[Who are] Evil their way
Nor they who deal
In wicked devices ill
Cease from anger, wrath forsake
The LORD's comfort take
Chorus
Unto the LORD commit your way
Trust in Him, and in His day
Good He shall display
For such shall not
Continue, cut off their lot
Shall be, but they that on the LORD
Wait, true His word
Shall to them be
Then the wicked removed, see
Their place no longer shall be
From them they now free - Chorus
And the meek shall
Inherit the earth, fare well
And shall delight themselves therein
Not marred by sin
There abundance
Of peace, God's presence they sense
Harmony and righteousness
He shall them there bless - Chorus

- Comment from author about the poem: I've gone modern - well, c.1980, for this hymn. Modern enough for you?! Probably delve again into dusty centuries past soon. A hymn-poem in Verses: 4.7.8.4. 4.7.7.5. Chorus: 8.7.5. The hymn has Verses in 11.12.11.12. This sounds like bingo!

Nice one Orchi
Thanks SC.
Is this about all the peadophiles in the churches?
Why don't churches throw out peadophiles?
They are sneaky, not wanting to be found out.
Orchi,
My auntās goodnight readā¦
Comforting words for her.
Thank you for sharing.
