Tune: Old Hundredth

('All people that on earth do dwell')

*********

Psalm 26 v.8

LORD, I have loved the place wherein

You inhabit, you dwell therein

In your house, there your honour be

I will worship reverently

Psalm 27 v.1

The LORD, my light, my salvation

And too He be to each nation

Whom shall I fear, the LORD He is

The strength of my life, true is this

Psalm 27 v.4

One thing I have of Him desired

I will seek it and be inspired

'Tis to dwell in His house always

To see His beauty, pray, all days

Psalm 27 v.14

Wait on the LORD, good courage take

And He your heart He strong will make

Wait on Him, and His time shall show

His ways and workings you shall know

Psalm 28 v.7

The LORD He be my strength and shield

To Him alone I safely yield

My heart trusted in Him, and I

Am helped, I praise Him by and by

Psalm 28 v.9

Save your people, O LORD, and bless

Your inheritance, us, no less

Feed them and lift them up ever

You will leave, forsake them never

      • orchidee

Thanks dusk. lol. The Temple is sometimes called a 'house'.

        • dusk arising

Do the Temples have their bins collected etc and pay council tax?

          • orchidee

I expect someone does the bins - servants, whether serving God or man, or both!
Ugh! Don't speak to me of money matters (e.g. council tax). One church I know never stops asking.
