She was

Anu

Broken damaged , weak she was

Craving for love , hurt she was

Longing for attention, ignored she was

Seeking for calmness , frustrated she was

Trusting  blindly ,foolish she was

Wanting to be strong, afraid she was

Failure after failure, tired she was

Living the past ,lost she was

Quick to angry ,depressed  she was

Surrounded by lot ,still lonely her heart was

Held captive by emotions

Enslaved she was !

For the feelings

Had become  her chains

I wished

She could break

A life guided totally by emotion sounds like disaster to me.
And I'm not arguing for a life completely run by rationality(whatever that might look like) either.
Balance is the key here I believe.
      Interesting piece.

Anyway, who are you? 'Like to tell a little (not everything !) about yourself on your profile page?

      • Anu

        lndeed , balance is must
else it becomes nothing but curse

About profile , yeah I will

Those chains will be broken one day and all will be well.

emotionality is a wonderful asset, in life
but too much, and like anything you'll soon find yourself trapped..
          variety, is my pitiful solution
I fight, to inject variety in my life..
variety, in the people I surround myself with,
          in my daily routine, and
          in my way of thinking..
that way, I'm always guaranteed a chance at realising, the traps
          I set for myself..
an impassioned write, thanks for sharing
