Nice & Snug

Poetic Dan

Under the blanket nice and sung, we can watch the stars come one by one

Now the sun has gone away,  the moon gets a turn to light the way

Be it happy or be it sad, let it all go up and you'll be glad

For far away in a distant land there could be nothing but dogs & cats

With all the milk and all the grub, on back of elephants swing trunk

Next door to a crocodile playing the wazzo riding a bike doing loop de loops

What happens next is up to you, just close your eyes and hum a tune.....

    Dan,

I’ve enjoyed this great poem of yours. I especially liked…
‘What happens next is up to you, just close your eyes and hum a tune.....’
…and that’s exactly what I’m planning to do—close my ‘eyes and hum a tune’!

Thank you for sharing your wonderful words…very uplifting and inspirational.

    Laura🌻

P.S.-I would like to wish you and your precious daughter a belated HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

    I agree with Laura ... it’s uplifting !

Maybe when were sad we should start singing , about to drift off to sleep and we could think of something really nice ... or try

The mind can bring the wonder of the world within us Dan.
