Here I am in Central Park
Sitting on my favorite bench
Reading my favorite book
It’s 3:20 on a Wednesday afternoon
Enjoying the ease from summer into fall
On the autumnal equinox.
The sun’s center
Has crossed north to south
Across the Earth’s equator.
Autumn has officially begun

Dear Laura - -- How near you appear with the image and wording as you sit watching leaves fall now Autumn's begun - -hope you see my warm wave from that bench in the park
Wonderful imagery Laura. I almost felt like I was on that bench with you. 😊
kinda cool on my front porch tonight 63,rain,,loved the colors
If I were sitting on a bench in NY's Central Park in autumn......I would very much hope I could find my way out again before winter.....
Atmospheric piece, Laura.
May that Autumn bring the delight of Nature's artwork to us all Laura.

Good write Laura.
it has indeed, although
there's still quite a few leaves, on trees
to bronze and saunter down
for us to crunch, in childish delight;
but yes, for us too
here in Hyde Park, London
its breathtakingly
the beginning of Autumn..
(thanks for sharing
I felt you words poignantly captured the ruminative essence of the season, wonderfully)
You made this reader feel write there .. Words as golden as the season they portray ................ and who doesn't love an equinox eh' ........................certainly worth staying up for my friend .... 🌻
