of the wind

dusk arising

will you teach me of love?
.      .....maybe
let us begin then
.      .....when you are ready
i am ready
.      .....you only think you are ready

ok so let us instead talk of love
.      .....as you wish
who was your greatest love?
.      .....she is the wind
who was the wind?
.      .....the wind my friend.....

.                   the wind, is the caress
.                      of passion
.                         she paints each season
.                             the skies and seas
.                                she steals the harvest
.                                      yet brings tomorrow

how can the wind be love?
.         ......seek the wind beyond famine
.               ......and you shall begin to know

    you been reading Plato's 'Phaedo'?
    cos you've got Socrates, unsettled;
    his place at the pinnacle of the dialogue king, may
    just have a new challenger.. lol
    (forgive my overzealous reaction, I laud your choice to showcase
    that dialectic writing tradition, in this wonderfully woven classic themed poetry)
    A great write Dusk, thank you for sharing!
    this made my morning
