Upon their eventual awakening
not one of them
dared in the slightest to move
and even as their eyes stayed
ever so lightly
half closed, a smile it did spread
across both of their faces

OOh I've had mornings like that. Nervousness pervades the atmosphere.... anxiety vibrates... eventually flatulence breaks the impasse.... but he's very forgiving... aren't you Neville.
Great piece which did bring back memories and how the situations resolved themselves - some better forgotten.

then all your choices in life, will be centred upon those principles, you hold true and dear, meaning
even your mistakes, will have a level of humble decency
that will never overextend, to indecency..
so that 'morning after' scene of consequence
may not have to appear
as a nightmare in your dawning future's, realm...
