Lies2

John Prophet

Lies.
What
can be
believed?
Lies.
The world
is full of
lies.
Agenda
driven
lies.
Followers.
Hanging
on every
word,
every
lie.
By nature
followers.
Wearing
the fashion
du jour.
Fashion
they were
told to
wear.
No meat
on Friday.
Stand,
kneel,
pray,
for eternal
salvation.
Politicians,
blind
allegiance.
Followers.
Marching
behind
banners.
Not questioning
why.
Not looking
under the
hood
to see
why?
Simply following.
Following
banners of
lies.
Manipulated.
Easley
manipulated.
Being lead
to the
stockyards,
by those
of lesser
character.
Eyes
wide open
to the
nature
of things!

We are led by lies so we need to walk our own path in this world.

(thanks for sharing, and for inspiring my scribbled reply, dear poet)
its easy to look back and judge those from the past for believing too easily,
for allowing others to lie to them and lead them blindly..
but aren't we the generation of modernity, that shut down Life itself
because of a lab leak, that needed Fauci, his greedy 'Investor's' and their zealot scientists:
to Lie and Lie and Lie and Lie...
so Science, doesn't get branded with the same 'cancel' brush
as all-things seemingly fraudulent and Archaic, like having faith?
see, its easy to find the faults in the world
we all see it, even when we try to ignore it,
but it gets a little heated, when we try and find the Faults in ourselves,
      you know
the one thing in our lives, we have Direct control over
that One thing, we All - Equally, in the here & now of actuality
have a chance of changing: for the Better...
      Here's a Wild notion
how about we start, with stopping the 'Lies': 'We All'
      tell ourselves?
      'gnothi sauton'
yeah, they knew this sht two millenniums ago....!
and we're still refusing: to utilise it!!!!!!!!!!!
its all so inanely hopeless, and so depressingly deflating...

“To thine own self be true.” I’m afraid lying to ourselves are the easiest lies to perpetrate sad reflection on humanity. Thank you kindly for reading my work
