There's poor people in the world
Could do with our charitable donations
But send them all to me!
That cheque/check in the post yet?!
But why? It's not for me
I gotta help Branson still
He's short of some millions
Or I gotta help a church
With their fund-raising
Not just a couple of thousand
But a million - each time!
So it's more than once
And for re-building
Not even for people directly
(It makes me sick, really)
Ohh, yes, seems fair to me
The rich get richer
The poor get poorer
This would be a fictional write
If some of it wasn't true!
Me middle name is Scrooge
You see them moths
When I opened me wallet?!
They fly out wearing tiny hats
Or carrying diamond rings

I gotta feed Fido too
He's very fussy
Only the most expensive food will do!
You'll soon be broke
Don't worry if ya got enough to live on

A good writing orchidee 🙂 strange where some of the money goes . The poor definitely need more help but I guess some people are not willing to help them out and money goes on other things
