Struggle

Michael William Reid

I try to make it through the day

And don't let others lead me astray

But life is hard and life is tough

And there is too many people who make it rough

I try to keep on being strong

But maybe I am not

Maybe I am wrong

Maybe I can never climb

This mountain of a life of mine

I will keep on fighting

Step by step mile by mile

Until I can smile a truly happy smile

Everything I do to make me whole

Does not seem to heal my injured soul

I strive to be a better man

To make the world a better place

But I am tired of my whole plan

I hide it behind my happy face

Keep climbing Michael, your world will soon be well as you deal with each day and move on.
