[ Fly ]

Heart of Babel

*Trigger Warning*
Depiction of Suicide (and maybe other things?)

Recently I

Decided that I

Wanted to do

Something with my mind

So I got a gun

And I pulled the trigger

Displaying my brains

Like a beautiful picture

What a piece of art

Struggle in the heart

Fly upon the wall

Studying the parts

Sort of like Picasso

World disfigured

Light upon the wings

As they flit to a flicker

High above the ground

Feeling disembodied

Such euphoria

Could have been a hobby

Life transcending

Cracks of a vessel

Wandering in soul

Finally feeling special

Looking through the eyes

Kaleidoscope-vision

Buzzing through the sky

Only one mission

Try to hypnotize

Forget what I witnessed

World a dinner plate

As I eat with a grimace

Nothing left to do

Goals set to check-mark

Floating in this room

Need a new benchmark

Plenty of ideas

In light of distraction

Never looked more peaceful

In fragments and fractions

Gorging myself

Feeling so content

Body about to burst

In this breaking of lent

Everything a blessing

Get me through the day

A small sacrifice

That will go a long way

Time to fade off

No unfinished business

Guilt given up

Finding forgiveness

Time has stopped

No more stress upon me

Nothing left to haunt

In the absence of body

Living my best life

Feasting on death

With this short life

That I have been blessed

Living each day

Like it’s full of potential

For life is a gift

In these moments so temporal
