As Autumn Comes.

Goldfinch60

I walk along the path,

The trees and bushes surround me,

The red and yellow buds

Creating so many specks of colour

As Autumns beauty

Begins to unfold.

The leaves on the trees

Fading from green towards yellow,

I see them all and know

That they will change even more,

And maybe next time I walk this path

The oranges and reds of Nature’s Palette

Will fill my mind and body

With its wondrous beauty,

As Autumn becomes my life.

    Good write Gold.
I walked a way I don't usually walk in winter. I thought 'Why are trees bare? 'Cos It's Winter', said Fido, who was with me! lol.

      Thanks Orchi.
You are obviously on a steep learning curve from Fido.

that feeling of oneness that overtakes us, at times
when nature paints our surroundings, so wondrously engrossing..
