Tune: Hawkhurst
('Come gracious Spirit, heavenly dove')
Psalm 33 v.18-21
********
Behold, the eye of the LORD be
On them that fear Him, He does
On them that hope in His mercy
And give Him praises gratefully
He shall deliver their soul sure
From death, and too from famine's door
He shall keep them alive, and they
Shall know His graces in those days
Our soul waits for the LORD, he is
Our help and our shield, true is this
For our heart shall in Hi rejoice
And give Him thanks here with one voice
We have trusted in His holy
Name, for holy it ever be
Let your mercy, O LORD, be on
Us, as we hope in Christ your Son
