Baami (My Father)

Oluwakunle Adeyemo

A mentor,
A teacher,
An advisor,
A pillar you are - Baami.

Wisdom flows in and out
Giving breath to the lifeless
Your impeccable knowledge
Surpasses wits and wits - Baami.

Seeing farther and far...
Supporting with love,
A ladder, stepping stone
For growth and greatness - Baami.

Arms always open,
Opinions always succor
And as simple as life
Taught and learnt - Baami.

So true Oluwakunle, my father was an inspiration to me as well.
