I just did not believe it!
It happened again!
My daughter took me for a meal,
For a meal for my birthday
Into a new restaurant.
I had never been there,
We ate our meal
And it was wonderful,
Possibly the best meal I had eaten
In all my long life.
At the end the Chef came out,
Came to our table
With a cake with a candle on it,
He wished me Happy Birthday,
I thanked him
And told him how great the food was.
It was a wonderful time
With superb food,
But I just did not believe it
As my daughter paid for the meal!
That was the second time
In such a short while
That both my son
And my daughter had paid.
For what more can a Dad ask?
Wonderful times,
With wonderful children.
Thank you does not seem enough,
Seem enough praise for them,
But thank you is all I have.
But I do have something else,
I have my undying love,
My undying love for both of them.

A fine write Gold.
I would pay for ya if we had a meal out, but I gotta support Branson. You know how it is. He needs our every penny!
Thanks Orchi.
You also have to pay for KP, don't forget her otherwise I'll get my friend to tell her mother!
Andy
Is she in jail? That clip you sent me?!
You're married to her - you should know!!
I hardly see her. lol. Is she in jail? getting botox? being on telly again? or what?!
I would say the kids are returning the love you gave to them. It also shows the young in a good light, as we only ever hear the negative about the young.
Very true Paul, mind you that love has always been there between me and my kids.
Andy
Wonderful write…

I'm remined of the saying , "The apples didn't fall far from this tree". Wonderful children because of a wonderful Dad. 😊
So kind AP, all I did and do is the best I can for them.
Andy
And you did a wonderfully great job Andy. Your children are proof of that. 😉
