Thanksgiving

On this day like none other

 

I think of my mom, my son and brother

 

And all that I am thankful for

 

All the times that have come before 

 

I'm thankful for all the love I've been shown

 

I'm thankful for all the good friends I've known 

 

Life has not always been kind to me

 

But it has built me into this man you see

 

I want to live and help people more

 

And maybe give someone something else to be thankful for

 

So to any who read this on this Thanksgiving day

 

I just want to share happiness I just want to say

 

Even if I'm someone you've never known 

 

I know your stronger than you've ever shown
