Falling Asleep!

Lauretta13

The midnight moon,

Right out my window I gaze,

The breeze so cold making me shiver,

Tears in my eyes,

Can't fall asleep,

Thoughts running at the back of my head,

"Why me?"

I shut my eyes,

A thought,

"Stop crying,"

Swallowing all the pain,

I finally lay my head down,

Drifting slowly off to sleep.

May that sleep always come to you without the tears and a smile on your face.

    Stop the weary tears
    Drenching the sheets overtime
    Make stronger the mind
To follow the heart unrestrained overtime

Some days, the world just seems to kick you more than usual. Tomorrows another day, they say.
