Tune: Divine Mysteries
('Sweet Sacrament divine')
Psalm 23 v.1-4
*******
The LORD is my Shepherd
He listened to me, heard
I shall not want, for He
My sure provider be
He leads me over hill and dale
And too over each mount and vale
Secure, part of His fold
He shall His sheep still hold
He makes me to lie down
In green pastures, not brown
Pastures, tender grass green
Lush fields here are seen
He leads me beside still waters
Waters of rest, He me assures
Of His presence by grace
I view the Shepherd's face
He restores my soul, He
Leads me in the paths, see
Of righteousness, it for
His name's sake evermore
Paths good and right, not dangerous
His compassion, care unto us
Help us to follow on
Good Shepherd, God's own Son
Though I walk through valley
Of shadow of death, he
Is with me, I will fear
No evil, He is near
His rod and staff do me comfort
The sheep gone astray He has sought
Solace and strength He brings
To Him creation sings

I am mightily impressed with the new twist you hung around the shoulders of the old classic Mr. O ............ N 🙂
Thanks Neville. Hope I've not 'murdered' the Psalm, as I've heard that ghastly expression spoken!
