Breathe
Breathe
one more time my love
I just need
to hear you sigh ..
Breathe
one more time for me
my love
I need to see
your chest and belly rise
In time
with those gentle
undulations ..
Like two
fallen sparrows might
In their
single quest to taste the sky

Good write Neville.
Might I swoon?!
You may indeed .................................................................................... 🙂
Breathlessly tasting that oh so romantic scene so sensuously scribed mon ami - and am giving it best place in my list of faves.....x
how extraordinarily kind of you my lady ................................................................... x
Brilliant!
by the end, I feel like reading your poem
is like a car ride, and all I need to do
to connect with all those nuances you subtly weave,
is just roll down the window and stick my arm out
dip and sway with the wind, like I too can exist
flowing within the syllables of your memories
and arrive, at the recollections of similar scenes - yearning's, I once took for granted in my own life...
(ah, I simply bow to your poetic supremacy!
write's like this, is why I consider myself a fan of your poetry)
