Lost

Fay Slimm.

Lost.

I flew the skies

from towns to fields

then Adonis clipped

my winging range.

He caught me with

deceiving nets

and shut me up

in his household cage.

He mocks that stressed

I do not sing

for he counts as naught

my lost liberty.

        ... ' but not - defiantly!
        my lost sense of self'...
(many caged, literally or by influence of restrictive barbaric mindset's (Sappho),
        who refused to succumb
        and instead
        chose to poetically demonstrate
that the Caging of flesh, is nothing
        compared
to the caging of our minds...)
        a wonderful poem, dear Fay
        oceans deep, in poetic brevity

May that freedom be found soon and these wonderful words show the freedom in your heart.

Yes a heart that feels caged is a sad place to be - thank you Andy for your warm wishes of comfort for all those sadly suffering in that situation.
