In God’s Court

Thekkinkkattil

The God I know is not always fair

Sometimes he treats as if I am not there

Maybe he knows things

Which I am not aware

I ask for justice for my toil and tear

He smiles at me with little care

Maybe his court is just as unfair

Or it’s listed and just not there

Have to wait till judgment day

To appear before his honorable “Grace”

When I can plead the case my way

So patiently I wait

For a fair trial to settle my case

God? Most religions load you with guilt while you are a child, so you're never an innocent. Rid yourself of religious burden and the guilt and trial will disappear.
All are born innocent until some religion or other tells us we are sinners.

Thank you dusk. Sometimes when we see injustice around we feel that he is not always fair.Who else can we lodge our complaints to.

    • dusk arising

Who ever gave you the idea god is fair? God creates malformed babies, creates killer hurricanes, famines, floods and tsunamis. Or do you think your god isn't omnipotent. Maybe you have been given a rather naive picture of your god?

That Spirit is within you and does not belong to any religious organisation.

We shall have such a day, though I suspect it will be US answering HIM.

        • Thekkinkkattil

We will have to answer but somethings we see around seems unjustified . We are just asking for an explanation from him

          • orchidee

Asking for an explanation seems OK.
Though some may get too big for their boots, thinking they will sort Him out when they see Him.

            Powerful writing.

Delightful message. Well written. As individuals with free will it is up to us to determine the fairness of our "case".
