Age Celebration.

Goldfinch60

We come into this world as a baby

And grow each day

Until that childhood wanes.

We become adults,

Living our lives to the full.

The older we get the luckier we are.

We look back on our lives

With wonder and happiness,

Being thankful for all those years.

As old age approaches

You must then realise

That if you are lucky enough to get old,

You should celebrate it.

With that in mind I raise my glass,

Raise my glass to you all

As I am thankful to still be with you,

And will have many years to come.

              Good write Gold.
An unlucky day in 1066 for me - I walked under a ladder; a black cat crossed my path and knocked the ladder; a pot of paint fell on me head; then I tripped over a (lucky?) horseshoe. Doh! All that before I mucked up the Battle.
