Witchcraft

Lorna

Sometimes I wonder

Does poetry take us on voyages

Where otherwise we might not venture

Do you feel pain when images written in rhyme

Call for crying

Do you surprisedly dance

The Red Shoes of words tugging pulling relentlessly

Over gaiety that poets choose

Leaden despair, heart moving messages

Laments in the air over a love that palls

The wishes of the unloved followed by verbal hugging

Hope for a future

Hope gone for any future at all

Yes I think poetry gives you it all.
Plus, the poet usually tells the truth about how he or she sees things.

    Poetry makes it alive
It helps me to get over the pain
    It helps me to shine
    Words unspoken flow easily herein
    Emotions buried inside
Can resurface easily on this side
    Well crafted dear poet
    It resonates with our mind

    Wonderful write Lorna. 😉

    Words locked away
    Within dungeon walls
    Building up strength
    Before long, the barrier falls
    Words come rushing out
    An onslaught of poetry
Setting the heart and soul free
