Trust a mirror

spilleronsheet

Trust a mirror

meant to be broken by others

I trusted

trusted the process

trusted myself over it

I trusted her

but in return mistrust became my fortune

Years of togetherness

lost in a moment of heat

moment of heat

or was it betrayal

betrayal in a friendship

I trusted

trusted in their decision

only to be known

I was never meant to be

their choices

over which I trust

brought me to a halt

never to return

I trusted

my fate

Though it was nothing

but a dead end

trust is a mirror

meant to be broken by others

so many a times the mirror broke

it became unrepairable

no adhesive could stick it together

trust a mirror

became irreplaceable

maybe it lost its charm

maybe it got secluded in heart

trust a mirror

who could repair ?

among the mirror I held

I saw broken mirror

could reflect

Colours in different hues

Wonder if my trust could reflect

it reflected too

One who could heal me

I could heal them too

trust maybe a mirror

but it doesn’t matter if it breaks too

use the broken to reflect

someday a miracle could happen

you may clink

with another shattered someday

      The mirror always reflects.
Sometimes in your favour, sometimes not. The shattered mirror breaks the chain that can never be fixed.

Ouch .. betrayal must surely rank among the most hurtful of behaviours .. and where trust is broken, not everyone of course finds it easy to forgive .. Your post today speaks volumes my friend ... N

          It sure is
But if trust is like a mirror
Then time is the best healer
Though it’s not easy to forget
But a least we can have intention to let go

So expressive ! A very good way with words … I really like this 🙂 sometimes people break our trust and maybe sometimes we think that might keep happening … which is a sad thing ,

I don’t think trust should be broken , or a mirror either ..

But I like your idea and words in this one

Believe me trust and mirror both shouldn’t be broken
But at times you can’t help it
                Eventually it might break
And even if it breaks let them break
But the soul shouldn’t break apart
Rumi said “ let the Heart be broken into pieces, so that it could open”
