You know that you were not redeemed

With earthly treasures, gleamed

They bright, but cannot save, they vain

And shall fail you again

 

But you were with the precious blood

Of Christ, a cleansing flood

Redeemed, he as a lamb without

Blemish or spot, no doubt

 

Who truly was ordained before

Foundation of world sure

But was revealed in these last days

For you, in God's plans, ways

 

By Him you do in God believe

And salvation receive

God raised Him from the dead, and gave

Him glory, all to save

 

So that your faith and hope might be

In God eternally

And trusting in Christ, he the Way

That leads to endless day
