Confusion lies

spilleronsheet

Confusion lies

at doorstep tonight

tomorrow’s a big day

maybe a result that counts

months of hard work

whether it would repay

maybe fate will play again

a devil in my life

months of awaiting

will flowers bloom tonight

just a day before

confusion lies

dizziness when I close my eyes

maybe the nervousness

running in my veins

making me blurry in life

maybe a nervousness

causing a flu beside

laid down on a bed inside

months of hard work

will it play tonight

Adding to dismay of time

sore throat rings inside

lookout for temperature

it rings high

confusion is high

body plays along with mind

insanity runs in poetry of mine

what stays

is confusion in mind

Having had it, and the confusion that seems to follow it, mainly from government officials who don't operate from the same script. I can see why people are confused. Then again, letting the world into Britain really is giving covid a helping hand.

        That’s true
        It’s true for most places
        COVID is new for all
But it’s been a year old and it’s time the Govt needs to settle hand
Govt in all corners must gear up now

I am just down with a flu and awaiting a result
So nervousness and tiredness hangs over
Mixed emotions colour the canvas of my life
