If I get the thumbs up tomorrow from my Doc, I hope to be in Miami on Friday for three days before jumping ship and spending three weeks sailing around South America .. Sheesh, what we do to try n get a touch of inspiration eh' .. Take care while I'm away & please forgive any delay in my going quiet for a while .. Burnt and Bitter Oranges
When they eventually found her suspended
in sepia like that
The years no longer seemed to matter at all
She was important
for a micro-moment and not a moment more
Yet the taste and the smell
of her did linger, like burnt and bitter oranges
against the very fabric
of his hungry, sore and swollen throat …

That sounds really painful … not being able to fully move away from something … almost makes me think of feeling a sense of feeling trapped . Just how I read it anyway
I can’t say I fully understand this but you seem to be trying to say a lot in just a few lines
One of the joys about this craft of ours means that one doesn't need to have an instantaneous understanding of what is being said or asked within a particular work .. I guess all art and art forms are open to interpretation .. and hey, get this, absolutely no one can argue with anyone else's interpretation ......... I appreciate your honesty tho' ................................ Neville

Old pictures viewed in today's mode must have seemed to perpetuate people yet traits remembered bring back even the taste and smell of someone much missed - - at least I think that is the message behind this intriguing read - - well perhaps maybe......x
