gain the future

dusk arising

Excuse my manner son,
I haven't slept
these past few nights.
The beast of the forest
has taken my attention.
She quietly howls her dismay
though has not yet ventured
into the village.
Surely, all know
slaughter will ensue.
We must take
each, their future,
and address
the beast for sure.
Now i must sleep.
Bring forth your brothers
this evening
with sharpened blade.
We shall set forth
with the spirit of all
to gain the future.
