Reverie

Mystic_isles

We  danced, we laughed,

we were certainly what I imagined.

We sang , We expressed,

the emotions were like nectarine.

When autumn wind goes running,

It does  few magical things.

Beneath the glittering velvety sky,

You lasted like a mayfly.

You stayed, You calmed,

you made me yearn,

Yet our fates couldn't discern.

The moments were a rapture,

My mind rewinds those pictures.

Flipping through the old rusty pages,

I savor the moment we molded since ages.

Your smile, mysterious and mesmerizing,

You never failed in hypnotizing.

Your orbs shimmered under the stars,

Hiding all the dueling scars.

Even today, I stand here holding the diary,

Although my heart is fiery.

I feel this same old fervor,

but I was just an observer.

I still wait for you now,

Imagining us taking our vows.

You flowed by like an unknown stream,

I stood here, realizing, you were just a daydream.
