Little Jack Frost

Saxon Crow

Creeping silently about
Little Jack Frost is finally out
He only comes when the weather's just right
And good Mr Sun is well out of sight
He's an artist and sculpture
A trickster and thief
He creates beautiful pictures
While you lose your feet
He can make you see magic
And trust make believe
But soon as you touch him
Your hands start to freeze
He's a friend and an enemy
Rolled into one
But what he really wants
Is to share in some fun
So next time you see him
Give him a smile and a wave
And if you play with him
Please ask him to behave!

Oh, good one Saxon. A classic from your very own fingers, so well composed.
    Into my favourites for sure.
